Epworth has 132 beds in 6 lodging units. All have modern toilet and shower facilities, most within the building. Five lodges have kitchen facilities and a meeting room. One lodge is an elegant, restored 19th century Dutch stone house. There is also a wilderness camping area with shelters.

Additional facilities include:

• 200 capacity dining/meeting hall (wheelchair accessible) with spacious, well-equipped industrial kitchen


• barn with a unique, comfortable room for arts and crafts and upstairs (wheelchair accessible) game room for ping pong or basketball


• pool with capacity for 50 and bath house

• low and high ropes courses


• a nature center and additional meeting shelter


• outdoor paved basketball and volleyball courts


• baseball diamond, soccer field, and large playing fields


• 3 covered picnic pavilions


• numerous fire rings


• 2 outdoor benched meeting/chapel spaces, one deep in the woods


• hiking trail


• adjacent to Pompey's Cave

Each building has a central meeting room, beds (most are bunk), tables, chairs, and kitchen supplies. Linens are not provided. There is an outdoor table at each building. Click on a picture to see more information.

The Porteus Manor House pictured here - is a 200+ year-old Dutch stone house, renovated in 1986 to sleep 12 persons in three bedrooms. The main floor has a living room with fireplace and comfortable furniture as well as a spacious kitchen and dining room. A large covered porch and upstairs deck have gorgeous views of the Rondout Creek and the Shawangunks.

The Rosebush Lodge can accommodate 28 persons in five bedrooms. Situated near the center of the camp, Rosebush has a large fireplace.

Sessions Lodge contains five rooms with two beds in each. Three of these rooms have private baths. Adjacent to Rosebush, Sessions has a large common room with a fireplace. Sessions is at the tail end of a major remodeling project.

The twin Nichols and Wesley Lodges each sleep 28 in dorm-style bedrooms. They are near each other and both can serve a large group well.

Woodbine is a cluster of four cabins around a central pavilion. Each cabin sleeps seven. The pavilion houses bath facilities, and provides cover for a picnic area.

In addition to housing Epworth's animals, the Barn is a great place for many fun activities, such as basketball and arts & crafts.

Our Pool is available for use by your group. Located just behind Rosebush, the pool has a large bathhouse facility.

The Dining Hall has a seating capacity of 200 and a great kitchen facility.
