Our Day Camp

Epworth is excited to be partnering with the Ulster County YMCA to bring Camp Wiltmeet to Epworth for the Summer 2009! Your K-8th grade child will enjoy all the fun and excitement of summer day camp at Epworth's beautiful 160 acre site in High Falls. Epworth is also offering Chickadee Pre-School Day Camp for 3, 4 and 5 year olds.

Environment & Facilities

Epworth campers enjoy spacious indoor and outdoor facilities. With 160 acres of woods and meadows along the Rondout Creek, and nestled between the Catskill and Shawangunk Mountains, Epworth is a wonderful setting. A multipurpose Dining Hall and renovated Barn, plus many small buildings provide variety and rain places.

Hours

A bus for Epworth leaves Duzine Elementary School in New Paltz at 8:30 returns to Duzine at 4:30.

Extended care is available at Epworth or Duzine Elementary School. Early drop off ($25 per two week session) at either location between 7:30 and 8:30. Late pick up ($25 per two week session) is between 4:30 and 5:30.

Food

Please pack a lunch for your child. Breakfast and lunch are not provided.

Activities

All activities honor the uniqueness of each child and are geared to the developmental capabilities of each age. Activities will include arts & crafts, sports, canoeing, geology, biology, and environmental science lessons.

Age Groups

Children entering K through 8th Grade are welcomed.
LIT program for 8th Graders
CIT program for 9th and 10th Graders
Chickadee Pre-School Day Camp for 3, 4 and 5 year olds

Camper Fees

$335 per child per two week session
$190 for Session 5
CIT's are half session fee
$25 for Early drop-off per two week session
$25 for Late pick-up per two week session

Some need-based scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
