Epworth Center

_    Join us for a vibrant camp experience as we nourish the spirited, organic nature of children in summertime! Camp Epworth is blooming with inspiration, peace and open arms, welcoming the youth of this community. We offer 160 acres of pristine green grass, fields of milkweed filled with monarch chrysalises and hiking trails rich with discovery of vegetation, wild life and rock face, indigenous to our own Hudson Valley.

Each day, we will meet with our groups for a brief morning gathering; a few moments to ground ourselves, greet each other, and shape the agenda for the day. Daily programming will include traditional activities; swimming, canoeing, a low ropes course, crafts, camp games and songs. In the interest of fostering spontaneous natural relationships, we encourage imaginative, unstructured play and the freedom to explore the bountiful treasures of this land. We will become acquainted with our family of horses, goats and chickens. We will learn the fundamentals of permaculture and participate in the care of our organic garden.  Swim lessons in our in ground pool are included, while private lessons are available by appointment.

Our trained staff are college aged students from all over the United States, each with their own backgrounds in child care, education, and a genuine interest in working with youth.
