Chickadee Day Camp

The Chickadee Day Camp is for children ages 3 to 4 with at least one year of pre-school experience. It runs one week sessions (M-F) with full day or morning-only options.

Nine one week sessions run Monday through Friday from June 30 to August 29.

Hours

Full day: 8:00 to 5:00
Mornings only: 8:00 to Noon

Environment & Facilities

Children at Epworth enjoy spacious indoor and outdoor facilities. The Chickadee's home base will be the Dining Hall Annex, from which campers will enjoy 160 acres of woods and meadows along the Rondout Creek. Full day campers will have afternoon American Red Cross swim lessons.

Safety

Epworth is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), meeting the highest safety standards.

Food

To allow for the unique needs of each child, we ask you to pack a lunch and two snacks for full day campers and one snack for half day campers.

Activities

All activities honor the uniqueness of each child and are geared to their developmental capability. Activities will include arts & crafts, animals, gardening, nature, games, canoeing, and sports.

Camper Fees

Full day, Monday through Friday (8:00 - 5:00) $180 per week
Morning only option (8:00 - noon) $110 per week
